According to these principles Karl Scharfenberg founded the company 1961. Today the third generation administrates an internationally active and independent company.
High vertical range of manufacture, concentration on one production site and short channels of supply ensure the reliable and confident cooperation with our business partners.
Guidelines
Based on mutual confidence WKS aspires to a long-term partnership with customers and suppliers. Common and permanent success is the target. Bureaucracy must be narrowed down to minimum because bureaucracy does not mean professionalism, but reduces flexibility and causes unused opportunities.

This was preceded by the attempt to establish a business in the home Thuringia after the end of World War II. However, the conditions of a socialist-communist-dominated economic policy were found to be incompatible with the ideas out of a striving for independence entrepreneur. The plan for leaving the home was taken and made preparations to flee.

The customer base was steadily increased and the range of tools grew continuously. At the suggestion of the clientele the conditions for the production of screwdrivers were created.
